We provide fun, educational and character-building activities, following the balanced programme of The Scout Association for around 150 Beavers, Cubs & Scouts. The Group was established in 1952 making us the second oldest Group in the District.
At 1st Stubbington we are lucky enough to have our own large headquarters in Stubbington our weekly meetings held. We utilise The recreation ground and local coastal area to its fullest.
All of our young people have the opportunity to experience nights away from home, whether camping, or just sleeping overnight at our headquarters.
We have a fantastic team of adult volunteers from uniformed leaders to those who look after our resources, buildings and finances. They also learn new skills and make new friends
One of our District Explorer units meets at 1st Stubbington, helping us to smooth the way of our older Scouts moving to Explorers at the age of 14 years.
