Fareham West Remembers.
As a result of the Covid-19 restrictions, our local acts of Remembrance at Stubbington, Titchfield, Sarisbury Green, Warsash and Whiteley could not be done in their normal way.
The District Media Team created a Virtual Act of Remembrance 2020 “The Year the Memorials Fell Silent”
With a reading by an ex-servicemen of The Unknown Warrior, Last Post, 2 Minute silence, Reveille including the flag ceremony and local images and artwork.
Groups from around the District have also personally remembered by laying their wreaths and creating remembrance memorials within the local church grounds, using painted pebbles.

Thank-you
” WE WILL REMEMBER THEM”
Note: Scout Association Guidelines were followed: Wreath Laid 4/11/20 During Amber Restrictions, Pebbles laid during allowed exercise as personal reflection.
