Will’s Dragon Slayer

On a day when we would normally be preparing to parade and renew our promise, it was a delight to find this in our Inbox.

Will has been working really hard on his Dragon Slayer Challenge, he has taught himself new skills, practised existing ones, virtually met Cubs from another pack and much more.

Will shows he lives up to his Cub promise everyday and is an inspiration to the rest of us who may momentarily forget. This Slideshow is amazing and the effort he has put in learning new skills and practising others is a real credit to him. Hopefully he will continue to enjoy Scouting and maybe aspire to completing his Queen Scout Award and Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award when he is able to in Explorers and Network.

Put your phone down and what are you left with? Just teamwork, courage and the skills to succeed.’
